Taronga zoo is one of Australia’s best zoos, with both an incredibly variety of wildlife on display and a great setting at the Sydney harbour front. The zoo is open every day of the year, so you never have to miss out on the action. The zoo has built a new scenic boardwalk in 2013, between the African Safari and Big Cats Trail. This new, gently sloping boardwalk is a magnificent way to experience Taronga’s wildlife with a fabulous harbour backdrop and an easy gradient for families with prams.
To get there, walk 5 minutes to the bus stop at the corner of Military Rd and Watson Streets, Neutral Bay (outside Coles). Catch the 247 bus to Taronga Zoo.
